Dear Members
May we thank all those members who have responded to our survey.
Up to present we have had 18 respondents but the survey is still open so could we urge more members to take part. Please see click here to take part in the survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9JP8BS7

As you will see in the main those members who did respond are happy with the guidelines which have been put in place to safeguard against Covid 19.
A number have returned playing sides, routines or within a 'squash bubble' but many are waiting for some form of normality before they return.
Thankfully the vast majority are likely to return to play and play as often as they used to once UK Government restrictions are lifted.
Understandably many miss the social side of squash i.e. the open evenings and club nights as well as the fact that we have no shower facilities. We believe that this is the reason why many members are yet to return.
The committee are reviewing their position on all of these areas but anything which is done in this regard will be done with strict adherence to the guidelines set out by England Squash.
As we have said the survey is still open so views are still being sought but we hope that many of you will continue to return and if you wish to play in a squash bubble please let me know by emailing me richardutting54@gmail.com.

HOT OF THE PRESS - England Squash has been given the green light to reintroduce best-of-five games.. This means that from 9th October, whether in a squash bubble or playing sides, players can play best-of-five games. As before, players MUST continue to follow player guidance including sudden death at ten-all and sanitising at six points. Please see the revised club guidance attached PSC Latest Guidance.
