A return to squash imminent at Penrith Squash & Racketball

Dear Member
Following the recent announcement made by England Squash I am pleased to advise you that we will be shortly opening up the squash courts to full court squash with different households. This will mean that you will be able to play multiple households without having to form a squash bubble or play modified versions.
This is great news but as the announcement was only made a few days ago the committee is now in the process of updating its rules and Covid assessment.

Hopefully we should be in a position to open up the courts to full use sometime this coming week but you will still need to follow certain protocols and observe current UK Government advice on COVID-19 for your own health and safety. This will involve the following key things:

  • Maintain social distancing off court.
  • Wear a face covering off court.
  • Wash your hands before and after you play.

Thank you for your patience and we will be in touch again shortly once we have implemented our safety protocols. However if you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me on .

Kind regards
Chris Lilley (Chair)
