Squash Handicap Competition

We are pleased to announce that after two years of restrictions and club closures we will be holding our annual Handicap Competition on Fri-Sat 25/26th February.

This is a great tournament for any club player, senior or junior, male or female, to win as it severely handicaps the better players.

No. Their hands are not tied behind their backs nor are their legs tied together, but they are handicapped by the number of points they have to make up on their opponent. For example our best player might have a handicap of 0 and his opponent 50, so the best player has to make up at least 50 points to win. So everybody has a chance!!

It is a knock out competition with each game being 15 minutes of continuous play.
All first-round losers will be entered into the plate competition, so everyone has at least two games.

Depending on entry numbers, the plan is to hold the first three rounds on the Friday evening (start 6pm, finish by 9.30pm) and conclude with the finals (main and plate) at 5pm on the Saturday.

The entry fee is only £5. To enter contact Chris Lilley by Tues 22nd February or write your name on the sign up sheet within the club.

We look forward to seeing you!
