Try squash and racketball for free on Saturday 10th October
Saturday 10th October sees Penrith Squash & Racketball open its doors to newcomers and its existing members to celebrate World Squash Day.
Its coaches and senior players will welcome FRIENDS & FAMILY who want to have some FUN trying squash and racketball with the added benefit that it is absolutely free.
World Squash Day is about promoting squash to the wider community as the very best game for Fun and Fitness. Clubs across the UK are putting on events to mark the event and Penrith is opening its doors for people to come and try it out for free.
We welcome all, whether individuals or families to come and have a go!
The club will be open from 10am in the morning on the 10th October until 4pm.
All equipment and refreshments will be provided at no charge.
Richard Utting, Chairman of Penrith Squash & Racketball commented by saying
‘Squash is a great game and with it entering the Olympics for the very first time in 2028 we want to open up our club to showcase the fun, friendships and fitness that squash delivers.
Its going to be an action packed day with fun and free racket games including racketball and table tennis. A very warm welcome is in store for all those who would like to come along’.
